                                                      What is W/Cu alloy

Tungsten-copper alloy is an alloy composed of tungsten and copper. The copper content of commonly used alloys ranges from 10% to 50%. The alloy is made by powder metallurgy, which has good conductivity, thermal conductivity, high temperature strength and certain plasticity.Tungsten-copper alloy (WCu) is a composite metal of tungsten and copper. It combines many excellent properties of tungsten and copper. Among them, tungsten has high melting point (tungsten melting point is 3410 C, copper melting point is 1083 C), high density (tungsten density is 19.34 g/cm3, copper density is 8.92 g/cm3), and copper has excellent conductivity and thermal conductivity.

Tungsten-copper composite is a two-phase structure pseudo-alloy composed mainly of tungsten and copper elements. It is a metal matrix composite material. Because the physical properties of copper and tungsten differ greatly, it can not be produced by melt-casting method, and powder alloy technology is generally used to produce it.

Tungsten-copper alloys have a wide range of applications, most of which are used in aerospace, aviation, electronics, power, metallurgy, machinery, sports equipment and other industries.

Our company produces tungsten-copper alloy rods, tungsten-copper alloy sheets, tungsten-copper alloy tubes for many years. Welcome to inquire.
