Different crystal growth methods use different crucibles. For example, the tungsten crucible is generally used in the bubble method (KY), and the molybdenum crucible is generally used in the heat exchange method (HEM). Because the heat exchange method finally needs to smash the pot to get the single crystal, and the molybdenum crucible is the cheapest. According to the manufacturing process of crucible, it can be divided into pressing and sintering crucible and spinning crucible. The quality of pressing and sintering crucible is low, the purity and density are low, the service life is relatively short, and the price is relatively cheap. Spinning crucible has high quality, purity and density, long service life and high price. In China, sintering crucible is usually used in long crystal furnace.
