What is Tungsten-copper alloy ?

Tungsten-copper alloy is an alloy composed of tungsten and copper. The copper content of commonly used alloys ranges from 10% to 50%. The alloy is made by powder metallurgy, which has good conductivity, thermal conductivity, high temperature strength and certain plasticity. At very high temperatures, such as over 3000 C, copper in the alloy is liquefied and evaporated, which absorbs a lot of heat and reduces the surface temperature of the material. Because tungsten and copper are not compatible with each other, tungsten-copper alloys have low expansion, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, high conductivity and thermal conductivity of tungsten, and are suitable for various mechanical processing.
