Nowadays, tungsten alloy is the preferred material for shielding parts. Although the volume of tungsten alloy shield is one third smaller than that of lead under the same weight, the shielding effect is equivalent to lead, and it is environmentally friendly and non-toxic, which is harmless to human body. Let's get to know the production process together.
Sintering process is the main production process of tungsten alloy shielding parts. Sintering is a kind of heat treatment process. The strength and density of the compact or powder are very low. After sintering, the most easily observed change is that the volume shrinkage of the compact becomes smaller and the strength increases sharply. After sintering, the product is close to the theoretical density, and its porosity should be less than 0.2%, so the change of the compact strength is even greater, The strength of preform before sintering is too low to be measured by general methods. The preform only bears the necessary strength when it is transferred in the production process, but the product after sintering can reach the strength value required by various harsh working conditions, so the strength of the product is greatly improved.
Tungsten alloy products have special processes, special ingredients, spray granulation, isostatic pressing, over pressure sintering and cryogenic treatment. This can greatly improve the comprehensive properties of alloys. The hardness and wear resistance of alloy products produced by Zhuzhou Jinxin exceeds national standards, and the service life is longer.
