As a typical product of transition metal tungsten, tungsten boat is also known as evaporating boat, evaporating tungsten boat or coated tungsten boat, which is made of tungsten by welding or high temperature stamping. It is an important sintering carrier for the preparation of tungsten powder, and its English name is Tungsten Boat. Because the tungsten content is up to 99.95%, tungsten boat has very similar physical and chemical properties to metal tungsten.
In terms of physical and chemical properties, tungsten boat has the characteristics of high density (19.35g/cm³), high melting point, high strength, high hardness, low evaporation speed, low vapor pressure, high temperature resistance, wear resistance, corrosion resistance and good electrical and thermal conductivity.
According to different uses, there are many kinds of tungsten boats, including stamping boat, folding boat, welding boat, riveting boat and so on. In terms of application, tungsten boat is widely used in vacuum coating industry or vacuum annealing industry such as gold plating, evaporator, imaging control mirror, heating vessel, electron beam painting, household appliances, consumer electronics, semiconductor and various decorations. Note: due to the thin wall thickness of the tungsten boat and its high working temperature, it is easy to deform, generally bending the boat wall inward deformation, if the deformation is serious, the product will not be able to continue to use.
