Spinning, which integrates the characteristics of forging, extrusion, stretching, bending, ring rolling, cross rolling and rolling, as well as the process of less cutting or even no cutting, is widely used in the processing of rotary parts.
Spinning forming is an advanced plastic processing method, which can meet the production requirements of thin-walled crucible. The process of drawing, flanging, necking, bulging and flanging can be completed by spinning.
For example, the thickness of the spinning crucible can be as thin as 1 mm. Due to the extension of grain under pressure, the physical properties of spinning crucible have been further improved, and the strength is higher. In addition, the spinning crucible has excellent high-temperature deformation resistance and can not be deformed under high temperature due to its integral forming and full densification treatment. Therefore, it is widely used in the fields of growing alumina single crystal materials, melting coating materials and rare earth materials.
The advantage of spinning is that the equipment and die are relatively simple (if there is no special spinning machine, it can be replaced by lathe). In addition to forming the rotation formed by cylinder, cone, paraboloid or other kinds of curves, it can also process the rotating parts with complex shapes. The disadvantages are low productivity and high labor intensity, which is suitable for trial production and small batch production.
With the needs of aircraft, rocket and missile production, thin spinning (also called strong spinning) is developed on the basis of ordinary spinning.
